Google translation service in one word: Sucks! Try translate "you suck" into chinese, it becomes "you drink". Technically it is correct, but it sucks.
I cannot believe how bad this service is. No wonder it is free. The only thing you can count on is the word translation. Phrase is impossible. Don’t even mention website translations. And I see no improvements in the last couple months or years.
How hard can that be? With thousands and thousands CPU and storage, you could do better.
If linguistic stuff is hard to program, you can at least do some brute force translation. I don’t mean word-by-word translations. Just hire some people to translate Webster dictionary with all the sample sentences. Then match sentences first before trying words. It is not elegant, but it gives much better results.
